Well after thirty some hours, a four hour delay 8 hours in Joberg airport and another 8 in Dullas I made it home safe and sound. It was truly an adventure on many levels, professionally and personally. I can't believe that I was gone for a month it seemed much shorter, time sped by. I will now need to spend time thinking about what is next.
Today I picked up my new dog. Rogue is great.
Thanks for following along. Pictures soon

Safari and Cape Town
We finished up our 3 day safari. It was really great. We saw all the big 5 animals and lots more. The guide we had was very good and was able to get us up close and personal with leopards, elephants, cape buffalo, it is so interesting to see the animals in their own environment.
We arrived in Cape Town. It is a beautiful area. Today we went to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. It is where the Indian and Atlantic meet and the farthest south point in Africa. The Atlantic is ice cold and the Indian is bath water warm, very interesting. The rocks just jut out of the ocean and the color is that beautiful blue.
there has been much talk about the strained climate here between the blacks and the whites. There is alot of crime in the cities and whites are not feeling very safe. We heard a report of a young woman who was dragged from her car and found dead in a field. We talked to a group of young men who were here doing Missionary work. They said that in December all the women were pulled out of the country after an abduction and rape. It is so sad that people resort to such terrible crimes.
We will be going to the wine country tomorrow, and the last day to table mountain and Cape Town. I will be meeting with a program on Thursday morning that runs support groups for children. It should be pretty interesting.
When I get home the work begins for planning the training schedules for all the folks we have met with who are interested in getting training. There is so much work to do here, and so little money with which to do it.
I will be home at the end of the week. See you all then with loads of pictures and stories.
